JMS (Just Merino Sheepskin) Fenders protect legs from rubs caused by stirrup leathers without adding the bulk of a full seat cover. Made from a single layer of Merino sheepskin, the fender is shaped like a western fender for maximum coverage. They attach to the stirrup bar at the top of the leather and to the stirrup at the bottom of the leather. The underside of the fender features a ballistic nylon layer that is 4" wide with a Velcro opening down one side to easily fasten around the stirrup leather (fits up to 3.5" wide). Our standard length fender generally fits people that are between 5'4" and 5'11". Custom sizing is available for those who are taller or shorter. In addition to the Stirrup Fenders, JMS also makes full seat and lollipop shaped seat covers. Regardless of the shape you choose, JMS Stirrup Fenders present an irresistable invitation to stay in the saddle all day. In winter, they keep you toasty warm and in summer they allow you to shed your long pants and ride in shorts while the wool wicks away moisture and protects you from rubs.
