We've discovered several excellent products to help you care for your saddle. Check in from time to time, as this list will continue to grow. Currently, we offer:

LEATHER CARE PRODUCTS

Passier Lederbalsam and Passier Saddle Soap are the highest quality commercial products we've been able to find. They are recommended for use on all of our saddles, and on all leather products.

Passier Lederbalsam is an extremely high quality leather conditioner which softens leather while protecting it from moisture. It has been tested and proven over time, and soaks into the leather beautifully without leaving tack sticky. Use Lederbalsam to restore and preserve fine saddlery.

Passier Saddle Soap has a very low percentage of solvents, which ensure that it will clean tack without stripping the dye. This saddle soap removes sweat and dirt while conditioning the leather and is especially effective when used with Passier Lederbalsam.



TEST SADDLE FIT YOURSELF WITH THE PORT LEWIS IMPRESSION PAD

High pressure points under saddles can restrict horses´ movement and lead to tissue damage and atrophy. The Impression Pad takes less than 30 minutes to use and gives you data (not opinion.)

• Use an Impression Pad underneath your saddle to map pressure points.
• Test new saddles before you purchase to ensure a proper fit.
• Verify results after your saddle has been reflocked.
• Reusable!! Simply flatten with a rolling pin, then use again and again.

The Port Lewis Impression Pad (Patent Pending) is made from clear flexible vinyl and contains a moldable putty. It is extremely easy to use. Just place it on your horse's back, saddle up, and go for a 25 minute ride. When you are finished, you will have a 3-dimensional image of the pressure under your saddle.
