 Like all VSD saddles, the VSD Summit is designed primarily for flat work, including dressage, trail, endurance, and general pleasure riding. It is extremely comfortable for distance riding or long hours in the saddle. The VSD Summit (formerly the VSD Mark II) has a unique leg channel comprised of a softly cushioned knee pad with a matching calf pad sewn into the rear of the flap. These soft pads cover Velcro-on knee and calf blocks, which attach under the flap. The look is distinctive; the saddle is incredibly comfortable and secure.

My experience has been marvelous through and through. I wondered if I could fit and adjust the saddle, but it was only a matter of diving in. Since I got the RP, my horse has a better extended stride, especially down hills.
